Regular meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Office Meeting room in Big Springs, Nebraska, set by ordinance. Said meeting is open to the public.
Notice of meeting is given in advance by posting in (3) public places – Village Office, U.S. Post Office, and Community First Bank and by publication in the Chappell Register, the Village’s designated methods for giving notice. The notice states the date, hour and place of the meeting and that the meeting will be open to the public. The notice further states, an agenda for such meeting(s), kept continuously current, is available for public inspection at the office of the Village Clerk during normal business hours. The agenda shall not be altered later than twenty-four hours before the scheduled commencement of the meeting. The board shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting.
